I’ve been a primary school teacher for over 30 years and have always leading loved creative projects with my classes. I moved to Weston 14 years ago and totally love our beach. I started painting beach scenes during the first lockdown as a form of escape from the grief caused by the sudden death of my best friend; she was an artist and I somehow felt close to her when dabbling making paint marks.

I joined Artspace and found a healing space there with my brushes.
